Shubha Lekha Reddy considers herself profoundly fortunate to have had the unwavering support of her loving parents throughout her life's journey. Her musical journey was shaped under the tutelage of her very own mother, Smt. Sandhya Saraswathi.
In addition to her artistic talents, Shubha Lekha holds an MSc in Statistics, a testament to her dedication to both the arts and academics.
At the tender age of five, Shubha Lekha embarked on her artistic voyage into the captivating realm of Bharathanatyam. Her unwavering commitment to the art led her to successfully complete the Vidwat examination administered by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB), under the guidance of her dedicated guru, Karnataka Kalashree Vidhushi Smt. Brunda Krishna lyengar. and has completed her Bharathanatyam Arangetram.
Shubha Lekha firmly believes that dance has been instrumental in moulding her into a resilient and determined individual. Remarkably, she dedicated a decade to training young talents in Bengaluru, alongside her mother, who is the founder of Shubha Sangeeta Lalitha Kala Sanga. Furthermore, she contributed her expertise as an examiner for the KSEEB examination board.
In addition to her skill and expertise in Bharathanatyam, Shubha Lekha also delved into the world of Sugama Sangeeta under the guidance of Shri Nara Hari Dixit Manchale for seven enriching years in Bengaluru.
Today, Shubha Lekha Reddy proudly serves as the founder and director of Shubha School of Arts (LLC) in the USA, where she has been nurturing budding artists for the past seven years.
Residing in the USA, she seized the opportunity to expand her artistic horizons online. She embarked on the journey of learning Mohiniyattam commencing with basic training under Smt. Sreeja Shreekanth and later pursuing advanced instruction under her esteemed Guru, Smt. Anupama Menon, and completed her Mohiniyattam Arangetram.
Shubha Lekha Reddy is also diligently improving her skills in the art of Nattuvanpam under the guidance of GurrJ Shri Hemant Lakshman
and have completed her Nattuvangam Arangetram, and also Learning Konnakole under the tutelage of the Konnakole exponent, Shri Somashekar Jois.
Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in her participation in various online training programs, including Natyashastra, 108 Karana’s, Desi Merga Adavu under the expert guidance of Guru Smt. Nirupama Rajendra of Abhinava Dance Company. She has also enriched her knowledge with workshops such as Bharatha Nrityam conducted by Guru Dr. Padma Subramanya (offline), Navarasa sandhana phase 1 curated by abhinaya Guru G Venu, Basics of Kuttiyatam under Smt. Kapila Venu, and Lochana (Netrabhinaya) under Shri Sooraj Nambiyar.
